For Immediate Release: Meet the Professionals - Wylie Area Chamber to Share Business Success Stories  

The Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce is launching a new publication, Meet the Professionals, showcasing feature stories, advertorials, and profiles of local professionals, offering the community a closer look at the people behind our successful businesses. The Chamber has enlisted skilled writers, photographers, and designers to help each business craft and share its unique story. Through Meet the Professionals, we aim to highlight community connections, leadership involvement, work-life balance, local impact, future visions, advice for aspiring leaders, Chamber engagement, and more - bringing the stories of our business community to life. 

"This exclusive publication offers business owners a unique opportunity to introduce or reintroduce their business to the community, exclusively for Chamber members," said Tina Stelnicki, IOM, CEO of the Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce. "It's more than just advertising - it's a platform to share their mission and vision." 

This full-color, glossy publication will be direct-mailed to over 34,000 Wylie ISD and Lavon postal addresses by July 2025. Additional copies will be distributed year-round at key locations, including the Chamber office, local restaurants and retail shops, Wylie city offices, the library, the recreation center, and physician waiting areas - ensuring visibility to newcomers and residents alike. A digital version, featuring live links to all members' and advertisers’ websites, will also be accessible online. 

“Our members understand - both logically and passionately - what sets their business apart and drives their success, but we want to help them share that story.” says Mary Ann Olson, IOM, Membership Coordinator/Ad Sales for the Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce. “From their beginnings and motivations to what fuels their growth, we’re excited to highlight their journey for the community, customers, and future clients.” 

The Chamber also produces The Wylie Area CONNECTION, a comprehensive directory featuring a categorized listing of Chamber members, an alphabetical index, and key local government and educational resources. The 2026 edition will be released in December 2025.
